Cut length of bone, epiphysis on one end. Striations around cut edge.
Whakarite kai
Broken bowl, base and two intact sides remaining. Shaped to a point a one end, squared at other end. Base flat externally and internally. Intact side straight. There is a small rectangular projection 15 mm long below rim on straight end. At the pointed end there is a small perforation through the base.
Broken fishhook point, most remaining except tip. Curved with some reduction around base.
Rāranga
Multiple hukahuka (tags) constructed with the two ply miro (rolling) technique. Dyed black with paru.
Complete composite fishhook. Curved wooden shank. Straight bone point with internal barb lashed with muka cord. Additional muka lashings and a twisted cord at the head. Bait notch at the base.
Broken bird spear point on the tip and shaft. There are two barbs and each one has serrations on the top of them. Serrations also cover the side opposite to the barbs. Large groove on the underside of it.
Mahi whakairo
Complete waka huia made of totara. Dark brown and dark red in colour. Lenticular shape. On each end of the box, there are female figures with their bodies in high relief on box and heads forming suspension knobs. Faces have red wax eyes. The exterior sides of both the lid and the box are carved with a rauponga (ridge and triangular notch) and rauru (double spiral) pattern. There is a rauru in the centre of the lid and two rauru on the bottom of the box. The lid is flat on the bottom and rounded on the top and fits into box with a tongue and groove at each end.

He kura
Complete bone pendant. One intact suspension hole and one broken suspension hole at proximal end. Straight, coming to a point at the distal end.

Broken bone pendant, proximal end remaining. Straight with suspension hole.
Broken needle, shaft and tip remaining. Distal end is sharp. Broken at proximal end.
Broken, straight fishhook point with the tip and upper point remaining. It has an upper, internal barb.
Complete, curved fishhook point with an upper, internal barb and lower, external notches.
Worked bone, possibly a toggle. Bone tube cut at both ends, but not smoothed. Perforation at one end. Cut marks at both ends. Cracks from end to end. Bone has been polished, with traces of white remaining, especially in the perforation.
Bone point, possibly broken at shaft end. Other end is sharpened into a fine point.
Complete straight fishhook point with slight cure at tip. Internal barb and serrations at tip. External serrations on shaft, and notches at base.
Mostly complete fishhook point with slight curve. Broken at base by perforation. Notch at base also.
