Complete tattoo chisel. There is a notch on either side of the hafting end. The poll end of this chisel is straight and sharp. The cutting edge is curved and sharp, with longitudinal striations along lower portion to cutting edge.
Taoka Māori
Complete bird spear point. There are four barbs. Below the lowest barb there is an area of serrations.
Complete bird spear point. There are five barbs. The side of the shaft below the lowest barb is serrated.
Broken bird spear point, lower portion remaining. There were three barbs, only two remaining. The lowest barb and both sides of the shaft are serrated.
Complete needle. Distal end is chipped. There is a drilled, circular eye at the proximal end.
Complete curved fishhook point.
Broken curved fishhook point, lower end remaining, broken at tip.
Complete needle. Distal end is sharp. There is a drilled, circular eye at the proximal end, this end reduced in thickness.
Broken toggle, longitudinal fragment remaining. Serrated at both ends, with a large perforation through the centre of the fragment.
Rākau o te riri
Complete patu paraoa with cut out perforation on the handle. Butt is triangular in shape and has carved (reke) out horizontal grooves. Underside of blade has cracks running along the surface of the blade on an angle. Minor chips and scratching are also present over the blade surface. The opposite side of blade has bruising/porous like markings over the surface, and a crack running from blade side edge down to mid-point of blade at the bottom portion. Small chips present around the blades point edge too.
Broken bone comb, head remaining. Previously broken in two pieces and glued back together. Rounded corners at the proximal end; sides straight. Evidence of 7 teeth, all broken at the base with a horizontal sawing mark visible.
Broken bone pendant, distal end remaining. Slightly curved and tapering to a point at the distal end.
Broken bone point, one end remaining, manufactured from hollow bone.
Broken bird spear point, midsection remaining. Visible repair near tip. Four barbs, the barb closest to the base is broken.
Straight fishhook point. Internal barb and notches on external side of base with serrations to tip.
