Complete adze. Rectangular Surface is ground with bruising and flaking in many areas. Butt undifferentiated. Bevel demarcated by a faint curved line. Cutting edge is smooth, sharp and slightly rounded.
Complete kawakawa pounamu pendant. Shape is an asymmetric adze, with a reduced cutting edge. The suspention hole at the proximal end has been drilled from the back. The cutting edge of the blade has been worn to a concave edge, forming a point on the proper left and a blunt foot on the proper right. The proper right lateral margin is reduced. The front face is rounded, with the back face flattened.
Complete adze Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground, some natural roughness present. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade. Blade is sharp and straight, chipped.
Incomplete Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Front of blade is ground with outer edges being bruised. Back of blade is also ground. No differentiation between butt and blade. Poll/butt portion is not present on blade. Bevel is demarcated with faint line. Cutting edge is slightly curved and sharp.
Broken pounamu chisel, poll not present. Dark green in colour with high transparency. Surface is ground on the back and bruised on the front. Bevel is demarcated by a curved ridge. Cutting edge is curved and sharp, with a chip missing off the proper left side.
Broken pounamu chisel, poll is not present. Dark green and mid green in colour. Surface is ground. Cutting edge is slightly oblique and sharp. Bevel on each side, demarcated by a straight line on one side and a curved line on the other.
Piece of broken worked pounamu, possibly a chisel. Mid green in colour. Surface is ground on one side and bruised on the other, with sawing marks on one side edge. Cross section is rectangular. Broken at each end, one end tapered and bevelled, possibly indicated a broken cutting edge.
Piece of worked greenstone, triangular shape. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is ground. One end is faceted and the other is a broken point.
Complete unfinished adze. Greenstone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with heavy flaking on the proper right side. The proper left side has a long saw mark. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. the side of the blade is straight on the proper left and irregular and tapering in towards the poll on the proper right. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved, sharp and slightly chipped.
Broken adze, only part of mid-blade remaining Cross-section is rectangular Surface is partially ground but with major bruising throughout, sawing marks along proper left side Butt is not present Bevel and cutting edge are not present.
