He kura
Complete bird bone pendant. Surface is polished. Tapered to a point at the distal end. Rounded at the proximal end, with a suspension hole. A kink is carved in the bone about halfway down the pendant.
Broken and unfinished toggle, both ends heavily chipped. There is no perforation.
Unfinished toggle. Deep cutting marks at both ends.
Partially manufactured flute.

Mahi whakairo
Piece of straight bird bone. A small portion near one end is hollow with a crack down the centre. The rest of the piece is split, and it is worked to a point at the other end.
Point of bird bone. Tip is very sharp, other end is rough, possibly broken.
Broken point, tip remaining. Bone is worn, tip is dull.
Complete point. Tip is dull, other end is rough. Bone is worn.
