One piece fishhook fragment, point and tip remain.
This Patu is fragmented, it is just a little part of the handle. At the bottom appear to have Reke markings. This fragment is very weathered.
Unfinished needle, broken in two pieces. Distal end is sharp, slightly curved shaft. Thickness reduced at the proximal end.
He kura
Broken curved bone pendant, broken off at one end (suspension hole not present).
Complete bone pendant. Curved with broken suspension hole.
Whakarite kai
Complete harpoon head. The proximal end of the base is features a large notch. The lower side of the shaft is reduced where the shaft meets the head. There is one barb. There is a large perforation through the head. The tip is pointed. There are several visible repairs where previously broken. Bone is burned in some places.
Complete curved fishhook point. Notched on external side of base, no barb.
Centre piece of fishhook tab.
Broken fishhook point, base remaining. Straight with notches.
Small bone point, one end sharp. Longitudinal striation on one side.
Broken bone point, tip remaining. Distal end is sharp.
Broken barbed point, midsection remaining. Single barb before the broken distal end.
Broken barbed point, tip remaining. Single barb at broken proximal end.
Broken bone point, base remaining.
Complete bone point, distal end is sharp.
Complete bone point, distal and proximal ends are sharp.
