Complete adze. Black stone. Surface is ground on blade and bruised on butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade with front and sides reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp but flaked. "Dunedin?" inscription.
Complete adze. Black stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on front and back and bruised on sides. Sides are slightly reduced and taper toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is oblique and sharp but flaked.
Complete unfinished adze. Green stone. Oval cross-section. The surface is flaked on both sides of the upper blade and bruised and ground on the lower blade. There is a slight reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The bevel is convex. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
Broken adze (probably butt/upper blade). Argillite. Mid grey. Cross-section is roughly oval. Surface is mostly flaked, with some bruising on sides. Butt not present, bevel and cutting edge not present. "Papanui I" written on end.
Broken adze (poll end of butt remaining). Argillite. Light grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground, some light flaking. Sides of butt taper towards poll. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Kuri Bush written on back.
Broken adze (probably back portion of blade remaining). Argillite. Light green and light grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised. Butt not present. Large portion of front of blade has been chipped off. Bevel and cutting not present. Kuri Bush written on front.

Broken argillite blade, distal portion remaining. Cream and dark brown in colour. Flake scars on dorsal and ventral surfaces. Weathering on dorsal surface. Retouch on right lateral margin of dorsal surface, and right lateral margin of ventral surface.
Badarian Pottery from the Badari site is a distinctive black-topped ware made of clay mixed with sand. The outside was coated with a polished layer of haematite. The pots were then placed mouth downward into the embers of the fire resulting in a shiny black surface at the lip.
Argillite flake. Cream, dark brown, and black in colour. Flake scars on both surfaces. Weathering on both surfaces.

Broken argillite blade, proximal portion remaining. White, cream, black, mid yellow, and light yellow in colour. Flake scars on both surfaces. Retouch present bilaterally on dorsal surface, and on left lateral margin of ventral surface.
