Piece of worked pounamu/nephrite. Pale green tangiwai variety, high translucency. Surface is ground on one side and flaked on other side. Small rounded proximal projection with notches on either side at base, possibly meant to function as a suspension device, worn as a pendant. Four pointed projections, two on each side edge, most notable on the distal edge, which is oblique.

Complete, unfinished adze The cross-section is rectangular at the blade and plano-convex with the front flatten at the butt. The surface is mostly ground with some flake scars and chips on the blade and butt. No distinction between butt and blade. No distinction between butt and blade.

Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground with flaking at the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and blunt, with some chipping.

Broken or unfinished soapstone pendant, broken at the proximal end. Human leg form. Light brown and mid-brown. Buttocks, knee, and foot indicated by projections and corresponding indentations on side edges.

The sides of the blade taper towards the poll. The bevel is continuous. The cutting edge is sharp, curved and chipped.

Complete adze. Cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground. The butt is differentiated by a reduction in the sides and heavily chipped at the back. The bevel is demarcated by a line. The cutting edge is curved and chipped, and blunt.

Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is rectangular, the cross section of the butt is oval. The surface is flaked, bruised and ground. The butt is differentiated by a strong reduction of the sides at the shoulder and the change in cross section. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight but chipped.

Complete chisel. Pounamu. Light green. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground, some bruising on back and butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Tarewai Point written on front and back.

Worked pounamu/nephrite, mid-green kawakawa variety with some translucency. Possibly a pendant. No evidence of a suspension hole. Broken at proximal end, chipped & cracked around edges & back. Carved into the shape of a human leg with well-formed knee and foot. Rounded "toe" at the distal end.

Complete adze. Rectangular/asymmetrical. Surface is bruised and flaked. Butt has minor differentiation; sides are tapered. Bevel demarcated by a faint straight ridge. Cutting edge straight, uneven and chipped.

Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is predominantly ground with some flaking and bruising at the butt. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is heavily chipped, with a large fragment missing from the centre front. The edge is blunt.

Complete Adze Asymmetrical cross-section. The surface is ground with some bruising on front and back. There is no differentiation between the butt and the blade. The sides taper slightly towards the poll. The bevel is continuous. The cutting edge is sharp, curved and chipped.

Complete chisel. Pounamu. Light green, cream. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground, flaking on sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Both ends of chisel have a bevel and cutting edge. Both cutting edges are sharp and straight. Tarewai Point is written on back.

Broken adze (butt remaining). Pounamu. Light green, mid green. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is bruised, ground down front. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Poll is reduced on proper right side. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is blunt and straight.

Worked greenstone. Irregular quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly flaked. There is a bevel at one end, demarcated by an oblique irregular ridge . The cutting edge is chipped and sharp.

Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is bruised with flaking down both the front and back. There is minor demarcation of the blade, with the sides reduced towards the poll. Both sides have sawing marks. Both front and back are bevelled and the bevels are continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and blunt.

Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is an oval. The surface is ground, with flaking on the front, on the bevel and poll. The demarcation of the bevel is flaked off. The cutting edge is straight and blunt.

Incomplete adze. Lenticular Surface is bruised and flaked. Butt undifferentiated and heavily flaked away. Bevel and cutting edge not present - have been chipped off.

Worked stone tool. Grey stone - schistose. Diamond shaped in cross-section. Tapers to a point at distal end. It is bifacial, bilaterally worked and bilaterally reduced 88mm from proximal end.
