Complete adze with part of the butt missing on the proper right side. Cross-section is rectangular. The surface is mainly bruised with minor flaking on the poll. Very small shoulder between the butt and the blade on the proper left side, proper right side of the butt is missing. The side slightly tapers in after the shoulder. The blade is demarcated by an oblique line at the chin. The cutting edge is oblique and sharp with a small chip on the proper left side.
Mahi whakairo
Complete adze. Dark green stone. Surface is ground. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with front narrower than back and a slightly concave indentation along the back side. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking. "Milton" inscription on front.
Broken adze, butt remaining. Green stone. Surface is bruised. Cross-section is rectangular. Sides taper toward poll. Bevel and cutting edge are not present. "Milton." inscription.
Whakarite kai
Mostly complete slate knife, large chip in blade missing. Cutting edge is blunt with a slight bevel present on both sides. Surface is ground on both sides with some bruising present on one side. Slight usewear at one end of blade, haft is sawn flat.
