Undifferentiated between butt and blade, stone reduced on proper left of front. Bevel is demarcated by a small ridge at chin. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. Broken adze (butt and upper blade remaining). Stone. Mid grey and dark grey veins. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground, with some flaking at poll. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming shoulder. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Papatowai written on front.

Complete silcrete blade. Light orange and light grey in colour. Cortex on one side of the longitudinal ridge on the dorsal surface. Unifacial retouch on one lateral margin on the dorsal side.

Complete adze. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front, slightly more rounded on butt. Surface of blade is ground, very lightly bruised on butt. Major differentiation between blade and butt, front and sides taper to a second shoulder, then continue reducing till poll end. Bevel is concave, demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped.
