Mahi whakairo
Complete adze. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground. Flaking on proper right side of back. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line, blade is sharp and curved.
Rākau o te riri
Complete patu onewa. Dark grey and black stone. Surface is ground with chipping at the distal edge of the blade. Perforation on the handle is drilled from both sides. Ornamental grooves on the butt.
Complete adze. Light grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on the blade and bruised on the butt. Sides of the butt are slightly reduced. Bevel is continuous with the blade and concave. Cutting edge is sharp and slightly concave.
Complete Trapezoidal blade. Front of blade is ground with flake scar at top right. Back of blade is also ground. No differentiation between blade and butt. Bevel is continuous on blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.
Broken adze, small fragment of one side remaining. Surface is ground.
Whakarite kai
Complete sinker with faint transverse lashing groove.
Complete sinker with shallow transverse lashing groove.
Incomplete chisel, blade remaining. Mid grey and mid brown rock. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on lower edge, with bruising before broken edge and rough sides. Butt not present. Bevel is demarcated by surface change, and cutting edge is sharp and curved.
Broken stone chisel, poll missing. The cross section is plano-convex, back flattened. The surface is ground, with some bruising on the back and chipping. The bevel is demarcated by a curved line. The cutting edge is curved, blunt and chipped.
Complete silcrete blade. Light brown and light grey in colour.
Broken silcrete blade, proximal end remaining. Mid brown and dark brown in colour. Weathering on right lateral margin. Bifacial retouch on left lateral margin.
