Complete adze. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with front narrower than back. Surface is ground on front butt and lower blade, flaked around mid-section and sides. Surface is ground on back. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced with surface change from ground to flaked and then back to ground on poll. Sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and straight, lightly curved at corners of cutting edge. "Sumner." written on back.

Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. "Sumner" written on back.

Complete Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Poll = Oval. Front of blade is mostly ground with butt being bruised. Back of blade is mostly bruised with the bevel portion being ground. Major differentiation between blade and butt. Clear reduction to the shoulder. Bevel is demarcated with a distinct ridge. Cutting edge is slightly curved and sharp.

Broken slate knife with the blade remaining. The blade has usewear across it. Both the surfaces are ground. The margins are chipped.
