Silcrete core that is light grey and light brown in colour. There is no cortex present.

Broken adze (blade and lower butt remaining). Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade, prominent ridge at shoulder, front reduces after ridge and sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, large chip on proper left side. "Waikouaiti" written on front and back.

Complete Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Front of blade is ground with large flake scars. Back of blade is bruised with ground bevel. Differentiation between blade and butt. Visible reduction to the shoulder. Bevel is demarcated with ridge. Cutting edge is curved and sharp.

complete rectangular, narrowing slightly from the sides from blade towards the poll. The surface is ground with some bruising. No differentiation between the butt and blade. The bevel is slightly curved and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp and curved.
