Major differentiation between butt and blade; sides of the butt are reduced and widen again toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp with large chip missing from proper right side. "Taeri Mth" inscription

Complete adze. Black stone. Surface is ground on front with bruising on sides and back. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a change in surface. Cutting edge is oblique and sharp. "Taieri Mth" inscription

Complete adze. Grey and light brown stone with pink marking on proper right side where butt meets blade. Surface is flaked and ground. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Differentiation between butt and blade; reduction around the butt, particularly on front and sides where butt meets the blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp.
