Complete adze. Cross section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. Front surface is ground, back surface is flaked. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, back slightly reduced. Bevel demarcated by a faint line, cutting edge is curved and sharp. Heavy chipping on proper right side.

Complete adze. Green and brown stone. Surface is bruised. Cross-section is circular on the butt and rectangular on the blade. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Dunedin." inscription.

Broken adze (butt remaining). Greywacke. Light grey, light brown. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface is bruised. Sides of butt taper towards poll. Bevel and cutting edge not present. "Upper Waitaki" written on proper left.
