Complete adze. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Side hafted adze. Surface is bruised. Major differentiation between butt and blade - proper right side heavily reduced, leaving a handle like shape on proper left of adze. Bevel is demarcated by surface, where it changes from bruised on the butt to ground on the bevel and cutting edge. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large chips along edge.

Broken adze (all but cutting edge). Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface is flaked. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides and front taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge not present. "Shag River" written on front.
