Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is semi-circular, front flattened. Cross-section of butt is oval. Surfaces of front and cutting edge are ground. Back of adze and butt is bruised and flaked. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Waimumu Nr. Gore" written on front, back, and cutting edge.
