Broken adze. Lower blade remaining. Rectangular. The surface of the back is mostly bruised and flaked with ground bevel. The surface of the front is mostly ground with some bruising and flaking. Dark brown speckling on surface of break and along surface of proper right side. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.

Complete adze. Stone. Grey. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is oval. Surface is bruised, with some ground areas. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, proper right side slightly reduced, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Otago Central written on front.

Complete hoe (paddle). The shaft has a circular grip. The throat has an ornamental split of the shaft connecting the shaft to blade. The tip of the blade has a knob at the point.
