Kete Muka (Tea Cosy). Woven from undyed and dyed black and blue muka using whatu Whatu aho patahi (single-pair weft-twining). Mawhitiwhiti (woven cross stitch pattern work) decorates the kaupapa (body) . Frill work woven outer edge with six tassels attached to the lower part of this kete with muka cord made using the miro (rolling) technique. This kete is lined with sewn fabric.

Cast of a patu. Painted mid brown. Previously broken at the handle and glued back together. Cross section is round at the handle and lenticular on the blade. Handle is relatively narrow and short, but broadens slightly at the butt. The blade is made of three bulb-like parts, separated by two deep indentations on each side edge.

Complete needle. Distal end is sharp, with a drilled, circular eye.

Complete stone minnow lure shank. Circular cross-section. One end is tapered to a point with a perforation. Other end has a notch.

Complete waka huia made of totara. Dark brown in colour. Rectangular in shape and in cross section. Box has a human head figure projecting off of each end for suspension; one of the figures has just one eye carved. The bodies of the figures are carved on the bottom of the box, connecting to another smaller human figure in the centre. A carved ridge runs around the box edge, decorated with geometric patterns. The interior is smooth and undecorated. The box has been reinforced with a metal piece attached at each end of the interior with two screws. The lid has a squared off projection at each end. The exterior side of the lid is carved in a curved rauponga (ridge and triangular notch) and rauru (spiral) pattern, while the interior side is undecorated.

Complete waka huia, oval shaped. Lid has two very large and well-carved human figures, a copulating couple. Inside lid has lip to fit into base. The base is decorated in rauponga whakarare running lengthways and widthwise through the centre. The rest of the space is filled with rauponga pattern that radiate outwards from the centre. There is faded black and red paint in the grooves. Each end of the box has a figure with torso on box and elongated neck with head forming knob. These heads are broken from the eyes down, missing lower face. One figure is male, the other is female. Eyes of all heads in formed of small double spirals.

Kete Houhere (Bag made with lacebark). Woven with whatu aho patahi (single-pair weft-twining). This kete was woven from the bottom up. Black and white chicken feathers decorate the body in alternating rows. A woven tapiki (finish) completes this kete with whenu (strands) being discarded internally before being trimmed. Two Houhere cords made via the miro (rolling) technique act as handles.

Complete pounamu pendant. Dark green and silver kawakawa variety with black inclusions. Surface is ground. Proximal edge is squared off with a notch. Suspension hole is drilled from both sides. Distal end has a curved, tapered, chisel-like edge.

Complete patu paraoa. The butt of the Patu is missing a chunk of bone, the underside there is a large amount of bone missing from the edge and from the top of the blade. On the bottom edge blade of the Patu is serrated.

Rock core. White and light orange in colour. Cortex present on one side.

Complete chisel. Cross-section is rectangular. The surface is ground The bevel is concave. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete wooden paipa (smoking pipe). Exterior of the bowl is carved with three human figures. Figures have realistic faces, hair, ears, and paua shell inlay eyes. Chest and arms have geometric patterns. Metal fitting around the bowl and stem rim. A smooth, curved mouthpiece is attached.

Complete tokotoko (walking stick). Light brown wood with surface worked smooth. Circular in cross section. Proximal end is sawn flat, with a male human figure. Figure has a full moko and both hands rest on stomach; proper right leg broken off. Two bands of carvings about one-quarter and three-quarters from the proximal end: former is a diamond motif carving and latter is made of two simple grooves. Tapers to a point at the distal end.

Complete patu onewa, with no tau. Drill perforation present. Butt has ornamental grooves across the top and blade has a chip on both edges. There is minor scratching on the blade.

Complete hei tiki. Dark green nephrite/kawakawa pounamu/South Westland. Small, made with metal tools. Head rests on right shoulder. Heart- shaped mouth; no eyebrows; nose indicated. Hour glass perforation in centre forehead. Right hand with three fingers and thumb rests on stomach. Left hand with three fingers rests on thigh. Pierced between upper arms/body and between legs/abdomen both sides. Base rounded with notch at point where feet meet. 3 toes indicated each foot.

Complete pendant. Takiwai pounamu. Straight with flattened oval cross section. Surface is ground and polished. Parallel sided with rounded distal end. Proximal end rounded and perforated - wide uneven sided hole.

Contemporary wooden koauau made from maire. Three holes on top with flush bevelled ends. Underside has innovative flattened plane for placement on flat surfaces.

Wooden koauau. Cylindrical in shape with three holes on top which feature uncarved circular surface around each. Raised shoulder notch on rear side with small hole filled with unknown material. Design based on horizontal bands extending almost full length of koauau. Design based on three ridges (patapata) with two grooves (haehae) and notched ridge chevrons (pakati).
