Complete sinker with a faint transverse lashing groove.
Mostly complete patu aruhe made of whalebone. Blade has an elliptical perforation through the centre and is heavily reduced on the sides around the perforation. A groove extends from the perforation around the bottom of the blade. Sides of the blade are also reduced where it meets the handle to form shoulders. Small part of the butt has broken off, and there is an indentation around part of the butt that remains. Cross-section is square on the blade and circular on the handle.
