Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is assymetrical. Surface is mostly ground. Differentiation between the butt and blade; sides tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but flaked. "Papanui" inscription.

Complete barracouta shank. There are three deep grooves at the head of the shank, matching on either side. Sides widen towards the base, where there is a perforation.

Broken shank fragment with the head and half of the base remaining. The head has notches that wrap all the way around the front, back and sides. The base has one perforation, but part of it is missing.

Adze roughout. Black stone. Cross-section is assymetrical. Surface is flaked. Major differentiation between the butt and blade; butt is reduced on proper right side. Bevel is demarcated by an assymetrical line and change in color. Cutting edge is straight and flaked. "Papanui Inlet" inscription.

Adze roughtout. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is bruised and flaked. Major differentiation between the butt and blade; sides are tapered towards the poll. There is no obvious bevel. Cutting edge is not present. "Papanui Inlet" inscription

Complete shank although the tip of the head is missing. It has one perforation at the base.

Incomplete adze - blade extant. Oval at break, lenticular at blade. Bruised and flaked. Butt not present. Bevel demarcated by faint lines running from corners toward centre of blade. Cutting edge straight, uneven and moderately sharp.
