Complete adze. Black stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with bruising around the butt. Differentiation between the butt and blade; sides tapered toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Papanui Inlet" inscription.
