Broken needle, shaft and tip remaining. Distal end is sharp.

Broken needle. Distal end is sharp, sides of shaft widening to the proximal end. There is a long, thing eye at the mid point of the needle, the bone is cracked from eye to proximal end.

Complete curved fishhook point fragment.

Complete straight fishhook point. Notches at base. End of base broken.

Complete straight fishhook point with 4 notches at base. Barb is present on opposite side towards the point portion.

Complete albatross bone awl. There is a suspension hole at the proximal end. The back of the suspension hole is enlarged by chipping. The distal end is sharpened into a blunt point with worn notches along the edges.

Broken chisel. Pounamu. Dark green, light green. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground, though some sides are bruised. One side has sawing marks down it. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Tarewai Point written on side.

Complete tattoo chisel. Hafting end has a notch on either side. Cutting end is sharp and curved. There are striations on the lower portion of the chisel, running longitudinally.

Complete but unfinished toggle. Finished at both ends, no perforation. Cracks along surface.

Complete pounamu adze. Cross-section is trapezoidal. Surface is ground. No differentiation between blade and butt. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Papanui Inlet" inscription

Complete adze. The cross section is asymmetrical: the proper left side is trapezoidal with the front narrower then the back, the right is ridged by a saw mark and trapezoidal with the back narrower then the front. The surface is ground. There is a transverse groove on the front approximately at the shoulder which may indicate hafting. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.

Complete pounamu adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with some flaking. Differentiation between butt and blade; sides tapered towards the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking. "Papanui Inlet" inscription

Complete bone point, distal end sharpened, very tip broken off.

Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is predominantly ground with some flaking at the poll and edges on the back. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.

Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground with flaking on the butt. The butt is differentiated by a reduction of the front towards the poll, and the flaked surface. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp, but asymmetrical, with the proper left side longer.
