Complete adze Cross-section is rectangular on blade and circular on butt Surface is ground on the back and flaked and bruised on the front and sides Differentiation between the butt and blade. Front is reduced at shoulders and tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking.
Incomplete adze - blade remaining. Oval at break, lenticular at blade. Ground with flaking around edges and some bruising along bevel. Butt has major differentiation, sides have been reduced smoothly. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line running from corner to corner across blade. Cutting edge is straight, rough and blunt.
Complete silcrete blade. Dark grey and light grey in colour. Inclusion at the proximal left margin portion. Flake scars on dorsal surface. Unifacial retouch on the left lateral margin and distal end.
Complete silcrete blade. Light grey and mid grey in colour. Inclusions of mid orange on blade. Flake scars on dorsal surface. Unifacial retouch on the left lateral margin at proximal end. Cortex on dorsal surface
Broken silcrete blade medial portion remaining. Mid brown and light orange in colour. Cortex present on the ventral surface. Unifacial retouch on both lateral margins
Broken silcrete blade, proximal portion remaining. Mid grey in colour. Inclusions on both lateral margins at proximal end. Flake scars on the dorsal surface. Cortex present on the ventral surface at the proximal end
Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is an asymmetric rectangle with the proper right side tapering to the proper left. The surface is ground with bruising on the proper right side of the poll. There is minor demarcation between the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the poll. There is sawing marks on the proper right. Both sides of the blade are bevelled and the bevels are continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground. There is no demarcation between butt and blade. Both ends of the blade are sharpened to a cutting edge. The sharpened poll has no bevel and the cutting edge is curved and sharp. The blade cutting edge has a bevel which is demarcated by a concave wearing. The blade cutting edge is chipped and sharp.
Broken pounamu gouge, poll missing. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground, with bruising on the front, break and cutting edge. The blade tapers towards the cutting edge. The bevel has flaked off. The cutting edge is chipped and blunt.
Broken pounamu gouge, poll and cutting edge missing. The cross section is asymmetric with an apex on the back. The surface is ground, with flaking at the cutting edge and on the break. There is a concave wearing on the front. The bevel and cutting edge are flaked off.
Mostly complete bird spear point. The upper tip is chipped off. There are five barbs, but two are broken off. Both sides from the third barb to the base of the shaft are serrated.
Complete bird spear point. There are three barbs. Both sides from the second barb down to the base of the point are serrated.
Broken curved fishhook point, base remaining.
Broken, curved fishhook point with the tip missing and the point remaining.
Broken curved fishhook point, lower end remaining with serrations on both internal and external sides, broken at tip.
Broken straight fishhook point. Base remaining. Notches on external lower side.
Broken curved fishhook, base remaining.
Broken curved fishhook point, upper point remaining, broken at base.
Broken curved fishhook point, most remaining except base.
