Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground, with some bruising around sides and butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, proper left side reduced at poll, sides taper slightly towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Onepoto" written on front and back.

Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "253. Maori Kaik" written on bevel. "Maori Kaik" written on front.
