Broken adze, butt remaining. Dark grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on the front and flaked on the back. Sides are tapered towards the poll. Blade is not present. "Pipikaretu" inscription.
Broken adze, blade only The cross-section is triangular with apex to back . The surface is mostly ground with a few flake scars. There are many flake and chip scars on the bottom of the blade. There is no obvious bevel.
Rough out The cross-section is asymmetrical at both ends. The surface is flaked and chipped. No distinction between butt and blade. No distinction between butt and blade.
Broken adze, blade only The cross-section is asymmetrical at the top of the blade and rectangular at the bottom. The surface is has many scars on it and is ground. There is no obvious bevel. The cutting edge is sharp and straight. There are some small chips along the cutting edge.
Broken adze, blade only The cross-section is asymmetrical. The surface is mostly ground. There is no obvious bevel because this is the bottom part of a blade at the cutting edge. The cutting edge is sharp and slightly curved.

Broken adze, butt and top of blade only The cross-section is plano-convex with the back flattened at the bottom and asymmetrical at the top. The surface is mainly ground with a few flake and chip scars. The sides taper towards the poll. The bottom of the blade has been broken off. There is a few flake scars on the blade.
Broken pounamu adze, one side of cutting edge remaining. Cross-section is oval. Silver, mid green and dark grey in colour. Surface is smooth. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped. Bevel is continuous on both sides.
Broken adze, blade remaining. Black stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with some bruising on back and sides. Butt is not present. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Papanui Inlet" inscription.
Complete adze. Black and grey stone. Cross-section is oval on the butt and trapezoidal on the blade. Surface is ground on front and back and bruised on the sides. Major differentiation between the butt and the blade with reduction on the proper right side and on back. No differentiation on the proper left side. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but flaked. "Papanui Inlet" inscription

Complete silcrete blade. White in colour. Unifacial retouch present on both lateral margins on dorsal side.

Complete silcrete blade. Light grey and light brown in colour. Flake scars present on dorsal side. Weathering present on right side of medial portion on dorsal side. Unifacial retouch present on one lateral margin on ventral side.
