Broken adze (butt remaining). Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground. Bruised and flaked along sides. Slight flaking in the proper left corner of back and bottom edge of front. Sides taper towards poll. Blade not present.
Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground. Areas of back and front have bruising on them. Poll is also bruised. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line.

Broken pounamu adze, lower blade remaining. The cross section is lenticular. The surface is ground with flaking originating from the break. There is bruising on the centre of the back. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.
